The Ratio symbol — Unicode character 2236 — is used between hours, minutes, and seconds in time. Do not use a colon (:) which is vertically aligned to the baseline, and will appear to sit low compared to the adjacent digits. Ratio (∶) is vertically centered between the baseline and the cap height.
