About this plugin

Plugin to generate random placeholder text in Indian languages.

Select all the text layers you want to add text to and click 'Generate'. Each layer will be filled with a block of unique text.

What is Desi?

'Desi' is a derived word from Sanskrit 'Desa/Desam' (देश/देशम्), which means country. It is generally used to describe the people, culture, languages, and products of Indian origin.

Currently supports 11 languages

Features

1. Generates requested number of words, sentences or paras.
2. Language-specific punctuation marks

Workflow

1. Run plugin
2. Select one or more text layers where you want to add generated text
3. Enter the number and select type of text blocks such as Words, Sentences, or Paragraphs
4. Select the language from the dropdown list
5. Click on 'Generate' to add 'Desi Ipsum' text to your canvas
