How does it work?

It utilises style libraries from color palette & tokens to generate the themes. It has caching mechanism to improve how themes are applied to your designs.

Although this is blazingly fast, it is still advisable to apply a new theme on a selection and not on page for large files. Large files already consume a lot of resources and in turn slows down any change on it.
