About this plugin

You're sick of using imaginary people in your designs with names like "John Doe"? So am I! I wanted a name generator that uses names from all over the world.

• No selection: Generate name in new text node
• Text node selection: replace existing text

Limitations

Currently there are some limitations in there are only chosen countries, only 5 names per country and there also may be bugs in the plugin overall. But I'm happy to improve!

Furthermore, I am aware that I do not address all people with the gender "male" and "female". A third option is being planned but I'm not sure yet how to implement it exactly, whether all languages can reflect it.

Data

The dataset of names was created with the help of an AI, so it may well contain errors. Please feel free to let me know! Also do you miss some specific country?
