About this plugin

⚠️ To use the plugin, you must be on a team with a Professional plan to have access to shared component libraries.

👉 Installation

Step 1

To use the plugin, you have to enter your Access Token. You can revoke access at any time.

1. Login to your Figma account.
2. Head to the "account settings" from the top-left a Figma menu.
3. Find the personal access tokens section.
4. Click "Create new token"
5. A token will be generated. This will be your only chance to copy the token, so make sure you keep a copy of this in a secure place.

Step 2

Enter link to your Team ID, eg https://www.figma.com/files/team/1234

1. Open your Figma account and click on the "Teams" tab in the left sidebar.
2. Right-click on the team you want to add
3. Click "Copy link"
4. Link will be copied to clipboard

👉 Component replacement rule settings

To use the plugin, you must be on a team with a Professional plan to have access to shared component libraries.

Go to figma.com, open your team profile through the menu on the left by clicking on the team name highlighted in bold.

Copy the team ID from the address bar into the field below: https://www.figma.com/files/team/[team ID]/[team name]

Example: Button = Button

👉 Text replacement rule settings

You can set up text style replacement rules synchronization for your Figma team

by creating a regular fig file called “ANDROID_IOS_CONVERTER_TEXT_RULES” inside any team project and give read access to all members.

Create a text element and write down the rules as pictured inside the file.

Enter the name of the text style from the Android library and its counterpart from the iOS library through “=”.

Android on the left, iOS on the right. After that, the rules will automatically be synchronized every time you open Android / iOS Converter.
