Manage description of all your components in one place!

Each main component (and its variants) can have a description that might be useful for you, other designers and developers. Descriptions can provide tips for using particular component, important dev notes or act as tags for better searching (of icons, for instance).

Without this plugin, you can add a description by selecting the component and opening Component configuration modal from the Design panel. It might quickly become not effective if you want to use it for your entire library.

With this plugin, you can preview and edit descriptions for all components and their variants from a single view.

It works with native Figma feature – it does not store descriptions in any plugin metadata.

To make this experience smooth plugin has a lot of convenient features:

1. Grouping components by page
2. Component names that act as a jump-links
3. Option to turn on/off the visibility of variants
4. Option to auto-select component upon focusing description field (it helps find proper component with ease)
5. Option to auto-focus description field upon selecting component on the canvas
