About this plugin
LayeReName is a Figma plugin designed to simplify and streamline the process of renaming layers and text content within your Figma projects. This simple yet powerful tool offers five renaming options:
- Title Case: Capitalizes the first letter of each word, except for pre-defined excluded words (articles, prepositions, conjunctions).
- All Caps: Converts all characters to uppercase.
- Lower Case: Converts all characters to lowercase.
- Title Case All: Capitalizes the first letter of every word, without any exceptions.
- Capitalize: Capitalizes the first letter of each sentence, detecting sentence endings based on punctuation marks such as '.', '!', '?' and ':'.
With LayeReName, you can also choose to rename the content of text layers by toggling the "Rename content of Text Layer" option. This feature allows you to maintain control over capitalization and naming conventions across your entire project.
