Auto Variable

About this plugin

Detect and bind collection variables to layer styles by highlighting your layers and setting your target collections. Any layer values (width, height, padding, corner radius, layer gap) that have matching variable values in the target collection will be automatically converted to the appropriate variables.

Instructions

// Linking/detecting variables in bulk

- Select all the layers you want to affect

- Assign the target collections for each style you want to change to variables and click the Run button.

- For example if you have a variable collection for border radius values, you can assign that as the target collection for the “Corner radius” style property. Then when you click “Run” any manual values that match a variable in the target collection will be linked/converted to the matching variable.

// Unlinking variables in bulk

- Select all the layers you want to affect

- Select “Unliked” as the target collection for a style properties you want to unlink from variables, and click the Run button.

- For example, if can select 100 layers, and specify the Corner Radius target collection as “Unliked”, when you click “Run”, border radius styles for all 100 layers will be unlinked (if applicable) from their variables and would now just be normal manual style values.
