Version 18 Key Updates

👉 Now, number variables for line height, letter spacing, paragraph spacing, and paragraph indent can also be detached.

👉 The Detach Typography Variables feature has been added, allowing you to detach all variables within Typography, regardless of whether they are number or string-based.

👉 Typography with mixed styles can now be detached as well.

👉 When running Detach String Variables, font size, which is the only number variable, will also be detached—please keep this in mind.

👉 The UI changes introduced in Version 17 have been removed (they just seemed to make things more inconvenient…).

We’ve tested various cases internally, but unexpected bugs might still pop up.

The plug-in can be run either by entering "Detach Variables" into the plugin search in the Figma file or via (win)Ctrl+/ or (Mac)cmd+/.

If you need a color, string, number detach, select the desired area before plug-in.
