About this plugin

Select a text element in your canvas, then use TextFlex to create a curved version of it. Modify the curvature interactively by resizing a plugin-provided guide circle to bend your text into any sort of circular or elliptical shape you like!

Instructions:

1. With the plugin running, select an existing text element in your canvas.
2. Press the "Add to Canvas" button to place a curved version of your text into the canvas. The plugin will also add a temporary gray guide circle next to it for modifying your text's curvature.
3. Select the gray guide shape and resize it to change the curvature of your text. The text will re-bend itself around the guide shape as you change its height and width.
4. Edit your original text (change color, font, size, etc.) to update your curved text.
5. When you're finished, click away or close the plugin to clean up the temporary guide shape.

To edit a previously-placed text curve:

1. With the plugin running, select a previously-placed text curve in your canvas. The plugin will add a temporary guide shape matching the curve of your text.
2. Select the gray guide shape and resize it to see the text re-bend itself around your guide shape's new dimensions.
3. Optionally use the plugin's buttons to change the positioning of the text around the guide shape.
4. Edit your original text (change color, font, size, etc.) to update your curved text.
5. When you're finished, click away or close the plugin to clean up the temporary guide shape.
