About this plugin

Batch-compress images in Figma.

If your canvas has many frames with high-definition images, Figma can lag or run out of memory. By compressing your images, you can save on memory and make your files run more smoothly.

This plugin will compress and replace your image fills automatically.

To use this plugin:

• Select one or more objects on your Figma canvas
• Hit the ‘scan’ button to start scanning for image fills
• Once the scan completes, select the images you want to compress
• Adjust your scan settings (optional)
• Hit the ‘compress’ button to compress the selected images
• The plugin will compress and replace the image fills selected

Notes:

• Running this on very large files can be slow
• It's suggested to batch a large file into smaller runs of the plugin, e.g. up to 300 images at a time, for best results
