Import SVG icons from your computer and turn them into a neatly organized grid of components to publish in your team.Watch the demo video for an introduction on how to use this plugin here: https://www.kaimagnus.de/articles/building-icon-libraries-with-icon-library-managerGood icon sets are constantly evolving and Icon Library Manager (ILM) allows you to import and update icons for use in component libraries. Simply select a folder on your computer containing .svg versions of your icons, for example from a cloned GitHub repository. ILM will then compare the icons in your file to the ones in the selected folder and show which (if any) were added or changed. Finally, apply the changes and publish the updated library in your team, so everyone stays in sync.Changed icons keep their component frame, which means your designs will automatically use the newest icons and don't become detached for example.Other features:Load icon tag/alias files and attach them to icons for discoverability (Figma's search also searches descriptions of components)Apply size overrides to transform all icons to a uniform size (if your files are all 24px, scale them automatically to 32px)Outline paths for easy scaling in your interfacesImport icons as frames instead of componentsSettings are saved directly in the library fileThe plugin is now battle-tested and has proven to be a huge timesaver in our team over the last few years.
