About this plugin
Generate editable text from a screenshot. Select an image in Figma, then click the button “Process image” inside the plugin, then see a Figma frame appear with editable text.
Useful to quickly start working on a new design based on a screenshot.
You will need a free Screenshot to Layout account to use this plugin, which you can create inside of the plugin.
Privacy: Note that your image gets sent to a server, and technically the actual image data can be retrieved from the logs. We have never looked at the images passing through our own service, except for debugging reasons. In general, be careful with OCR'ing sensitive data.
