About this plugin

Find and select duplicates across various sets of duplicate layers within a selection.

Layers with identical names are regarded as duplicates.

Duplicates Finder simplifies identifying duplicate layers within a selection. It also allows to exclude one from each set of duplicates or select one from each set leaving the rest unselected. It is especially useful when concerning layers are large in number and/or are spread across multiple groups.

How to use

1. Select the layers you wish to identify duplicates within.
2. Click "Find Duplicates" to highlight all duplicates, automatically deselecting one instance from each set.
3. Use "Select Singles" to choose only one layer from each group of duplicates, leaving the rest unselected.

Upcoming

This is an early version of the plugin. In next updates, I will add additional ways to exclude or identify the duplicates. For example, you will be able to identify and exclude layers based on their properties.
