About this plugin

Link matching styles of selected elements and the styles in your library

Work with all Figma style types: Fill, Stroke, Text, Effects, Layout grid

For example, a Color style named Primary with a color #0D99FF is in the library, this plugin will find and apply/link Primary to all elements with color #0D99FF, so you don't have to do it manually.

Use case

1. When you pick a color using Eyedropper, you always get HEX color, even if the color is already in the library. Link it back to the matching style in the library.
2. Retroactively apply design system to existing design.
3. Unlink styles of external libraries when you copy elements from shared files, then relink them to your local library.

Limitations

1. It only works with "Local styles", it doesn't work with Library or Variables for now.
2. Component instances are skipped.
3. Text styles are very tricky as any difference in line hight, letter spacing etc prevents it from been matched.
4. Occasionally Figma returns linked style that doesn't exist to plugin, try "Unlink" first then "Apply" again.
