Swap Instance

About this plugin

This is a simple little plugin that allows you to select a source instance and apply it to a destination instance (in the same way the swap instance panel works) but also optionally preserving some of the of the overrides.

This is a game changer when working with slots to allow you to insert a configured instance into an existing slot without having to manually reconfigure it.

How to use it.

1. Select an instance or a component layer.
2. Press the middle + button to "copy" the layer
3. Select where you would like to "paste" the instance
4. Press the right replace button

Settings

• Persistent? Keeps the panel open after pasting
• Create? If the source layer is not a component, the plugin will create a component of it when pasting
• Deep Copy? This will attempt to copy any overrides on the source instance
