African Name Generator Plugin

What It Does

The African Name Generator plugin helps you quickly add authentic African names to your designs. You can generate and insert first names, last names, or full names from Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, and Ethiopia.

How to Use It

1. Open the Plugin: Find and launch the African Name Generator plugin in your Figma plugins menu.

2. Select Parameters:

- Country: Choose Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Ethiopia, Egypt, Senegal, Uganda, Tanzania, Morocco, and Cameroon.

- Gender: Pick male or female.

- Name Type: Select first name, last name, or full name.

3. Generate Name: Click the "Generate Name" button. The name will appear in the plugin.

4. Insert Name:

- Select a text layer in your Figma file.

- Click the "Insert Name" button. The plugin will insert the name into the selected text layer.

Limitations

- Name List: The names come from a fixed list. Not every African name is included.

- Font Support: The plugin uses fonts available in Figma. Ensure the desired font is available.

- Single Text Layer: Insert names into one text layer at a time. Repeat the process for multiple layers.
