About this plugin

Slay your layer names

1. Select layer(s) with styles or variables directly applied to them (color, text and effect).
2. Preview how many layers will be renamed, already match their style/variable name, have no styles applied, or if part of your selection has more than one style/variable applied to the same layer.
3. Click Rename layer!

This plugin is a great complement to Styler, when style names and layer names become out of sync.

Notes

1. Name Slayer supports color variables and color styles applied to either a fill or stroke, as well as text styles and effect styles.
2. Layers with more than one style or variable can’t be renamed – layers must have a single style or variable to know what to rename it to.
3. Styles which alias variables will be rename to the style, not the variable within.
