Figaro – Figma Plugin for Managing Design Variables

Figaro is a Figma plugin that allows you to export and import local variables (design tokens) between projects while preserving alias links and collection modes.

Key Features

Full or selective export: Export all variable collections or choose specific ones

Drag & drop import: Simply drag and drop JSON files or select them manually

Alias preservation: All variable links remain intact during import

Smart file naming: Files are automatically named using the collection name in lowercase with hyphens

Generates CSS with primitive variables on top, semantic below, sorted alphabetically.

Real-time updates: Refresh to instantly view recent changes in your collections
