SpecMate is your go-to Figma plugin for converting designs into detailed, structured user stories, making the handoff between design and development seamless. It automates the process of translating design frames into actionable tasks for your project management tools, saving you time and ensuring nothing gets missed. Here’s how SpecMate works:

✅ Select Frames: Start by selecting at least one Figma frame that represents a screen or component of your design. You can also select multiple frames to document multi-step user flows.

🚀 Click "Generate User Stories": Once you've selected the frames, click the "Generate User Stories" button. SpecMate will analyze the frames, recognizing the necessary user stories based on the flow and the design elements present.

📝 Auto-Generated User Stories: SpecMate will automatically generate a detailed breakdown for each user story. This includes:

1. User Story Description: A clear, concise explanation of what the user will do.
2. Steps: Detailed steps capturing the flow of interaction within the selected frames.
3. Acceptance Criteria: Well-defined criteria for each story to ensure the development meets expectations.
4. Test Cases: Suggested test cases to verify the functionality and smooth execution of the user flow.

📋 Copy & Share: After generating the user stories, simply copy the content with one click and paste it into your favorite project management tool (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana). This allows for easy collaboration with your team, ensuring that every design detail is captured for developers to implement.
