About this plugin

Paint Mixer allows you to blend two colors just like in real life, using Kubelka & Munk algorithm to predict how light interacts with mixed pigments under natural light for the most authentic results. Learn More from this video.

Features

1. Accurately mix two colors using the Kubelka & Munk theory.
2. Apply the mixed color as a fill or stroke to Figma layers.
3. Create a 9-step gradient layer and linear-fill layer from the start and end colors.

How to Use

1. Select the end color from the palette box below.
2. Rotate the handle clockwise to gradually mix the start color with the end color. Rotate counterclockwise to unmix.
3. Click the hex code to copy color.
4. Hover on the dropdown to show more actions (see image 2).
5. Double-click one of the palettes to change its color.

Tips

1. Rotate two full revolutions (720°) to completely turn into the end color.
2. Click 3 dots at the bottom to show more options.
3. Grabbing the handle further from the center of the wheel gives you more precise control.
