Figmata is a tool that brings data visualization into the Figma environment, letting designers map data directly onto design elements with live, visual feedback. Unlike rigid chart tools like Excel or Illustrator, Figmata enables custom, flexible, and interactive graphics—integrated into the design systems designers already use. It lowers the barrier to entry compared to D3 by working within Figma's component-based structure and offering code autocompletion for advanced users. Figmata supports CSV/JSON input, direct manipulation of visual properties, and saves state for iterative work. It bridges the gap between data and UI design, making data-rich interfaces more intuitive and design-friendly.
