Spreadsheet to Figma

About this plugin

Sync content from Google Sheets directly into your Figma file.

Step 1

Prepare your figma design. Aptly name your layers, cause they will be referenced by name in your spreadsheet!

Step 2

Prepare your google spreadsheet:

1. reserve first row for headings
2. each row will be a copy of the design

Each column name should be: layer_name.layer_property (examples: rectangle.fill, client.text)

Available properties:

1. x : number
2. y : number
3. width : number
4. height: number
5. rotation: number
6. fill : image url or hex color
7. instance : component name
8. text: string
9. stroke_weight: number
10. stroke_color: hex color
11. hidden: boolean
12. visible: boolean

Step 3

Make the spreadsheet public and copy the url

Step 4

1. Open the plugin
2. Paste the url
3. Select the layer
4. Smash that big orange button!
