About this plugin

A Figma plugin to generate static or variable SF Symbol SVGs from your Figma icons that can be imported into the SF Symbols App or directly to Xcode as an asset.

Compatible with SF Symbols 5 and up.

Usage

1. Select one or more icon layers in your Figma document

2. Open the SF Symbol Generator plugin

3. Click "Scan Selected Icons" to detect your selected icons

4. Choose between Static or Variable mode:

- Static: Select one icon from your selection to create an SF Symbol

- Variable: Assign your icons to Ultra Light, Regular, and Black weights

5. Click "Create SF Symbol" to generate your SF Symbol SVG
