Tired of manually updating each Figma variable’s description? This plugin streamlines the process by allowing you to update all variable descriptions simultaneously using a CSV file. This means you can ensure your design system stays consistent and well-documented—without the hassle of repetitive edits.

How It Works:

•Prepare Your CSV: Create a CSV file with the format: token_name,description. Ensure each variable name in your CSV matches exactly (1:1) with the ones in Figma; the plugin is sensitive to misspellings and will skip any mismatches.

•Select Variable Collection(s): Choose one or multiple variable collections based on your CSV file. (Recommendation: create a separate CSV for each collection.)

•Preview Changes: Review the highlighted changes in a table before applying them, ensuring accuracy and control over the update process.

•Apply Updates: With just a few clicks, update all selected variable descriptions in your Figma design system.
