About this plugin
We’ve all done it–selected multiple frames and tried to add auto layout to each of them, only to find that instead of adding auto layout to every frame individually as expected, Figma annoyingly groups all your selected frames and organizes them in a single auto layout.
This simple plugin provides that missing, expected functionality for Figma. With this plugin, simply select all of the frames you want to add auto layout to and run the plugin, and voila—every frame you selected will now have auto layout added, instead of the default Figma behavior of grouping the selected frames within a new frame and organizing your selected layers in a single auto layout—so annoying!
Currently the plugin simply sets the same default auto layout properties that the standard "add auto layout" UI button and command add—horizontal directionality and 10px padding and spacing. I may consider adding to this plugin the ability to configure custom default properties with a separate command—please comment if such a feature would interest you.
