Capture screenshots from any webpage and instantly send them to your FigJam board or Figma Design file in a single click, making it easier than ever to document user experiences as you browse the web.
Please note that to use SnapCap, you will also need to install the companion Chrome extension at snapcap.app/extension
How to Use SnapCap
Installation
- Install the Figma plugin
- Install the Chrome browser extension, and pin it
Session Setup
- Open the FigJam board or Figma Design file where you wish to send screenshots
- Launch the Figma plugin and click "Start new session"
- Copy the generated session code
- Click on the SnapCap browser extension and enter the copied session code
Taking Screenshots
Once your session has connected, click on the SnapCap browser extension anytime you want to take a screenshot and send it to your Figma file. A check mark will be shown on the extension icon to indicate that the screenshot was captured successfully, and it will show up moments later in the Figma file where the FigCap plugin is running.
Ending Session
When you are done taking screenshots, click the End button. If the SnapCap browser extension does not automatically disconnect, you can right click on the extension icon and select "End session"
