This Figma plugin converts Design Token Community Group (DTCG)-formatted JSON into Figma Variables.

Limitations

•Works in the Figma desktop app and Chrome.

Safari isn’t supported because browser file-access restrictions block the import.

•Not a full DTCG parser—some valid files may fail to load.

Supported token types

•string

•number / dimension / duration

•boolean

•Aliases to any supported token in the same JSON or Figma file

•Aliases to tokens in other JSON / Figma files (if those variables are published to a team library)
