PrinTriX ensures consistent and high-quality CMYK , RGB or GrayScale output for your print files and it turns Figma into a professional prepress tool. Pick a paper size, set bleed, and go.- Convert selected frames — Select frames in Figma first, then click to convert them into a print-ready document. If no frames are selected, clicking shows a warning.---Export TabsAfter converting frames, you enter the editor with four tabs:Colors TabICC Profile — Select the ICC color profile for CMYK conversion (e.g., Fogra39, GRACoL, custom upload). This determines how RGB colors are mapped to CMYK.Rendering Intent — How out-of-gamut colors are handled:- Perceptual — Compresses all colors to fit the gamut, preserving relationships- Relative Colorimetric — Maps exact matches, clips out-of-gamut to nearest- Saturation — Prioritizes vivid colors (good for charts/graphics)- Absolute Colorimetric — Like relative but preserves paper white simulationDocument Colors section:- Re-scan button — Extracts all unique colors from your selected frames and converts them via the ICC profile on the server- Each color shows as a compact row: color swatch | hex | CMYK values | usage count- Click the chevron to expand a color and see:- RGB → CMYK badges showing the conversion direction- TAC (Total Area Coverage) — green if under 280%, yellow 280-320%, red above 320%- CMYK sliders — drag or type values directly to override the ICC conversion- CMYK / Spot / Pantone selector — mark a color as a spot ink or Pantone reference- Spot/Pantone name field — appears when Spot or Pantone is selected- Reset button — reverts a custom override back to the server ICC valueColor Map row:- MAP dropdown — Load a saved color map preset. Selecting "None" reverts all colors to server defaults.- Unsaved badge — Appears when you've edited colors after loading a map- Map name input — Always visible below the dropdown. Prepopulated with the selected map's name.- Save button — If the name matches the selected map, it updates that map. If it's a new name, it creates a new map.- Delete button — Removes the selected map (only visible when a map is selected)---Text TabControls how text is exported in your PDF — as outlined vector paths (safe for any printer) or as live searchable/editable text.Scan frames button — Detects all text nodes in your frames.Two sub-tabs:Text scan:- Quick-select chips: All live | Live no effects | All vector- Text nodes grouped by frame, each with a toggle (click the Aa icon) to switch between live and vector- Nodes with effects (shadows, blur) are flagged since effects may not render correctly as live text- Missing font warnings appear if a font isn't available on Google Fonts and hasn't been uploadedCustom fonts:- Upload .ttf, .otf files for fonts not on Google Fonts- Font family and style are auto-detected from the file metadata- Uploaded fonts are used server-side when rendering live text in the PDF---Preflight TabAutomated quality checks on your document before export.- Checks run instantly (geometry, design issues)- Issues are grouped by category: Geometry, Color, Resolution, Transparency, Annotations, Spots- Each issue shows severity: error (red), warning (yellow), info (blue), pass (green)---Packaging TabControls for finishing, spot colors, and dieline handling during CMYK conversion.Spot color policy:- Preserve — Keep all spot/named inks as separate separations- Flatten to CMYK — Convert all spots to process CMYK- Keep only listed — Only preserve spots you name (comma-separated list)Dieline handling:- Off — No dieline processing- Auto-tag from layers — Scans Figma layer names for finishing keywords (Cut, Fold, Score, Perforation, Varnish, White, Foil) and maps them to spot separations. Use stroke-only on dieline layers.- Manual — Specify dieline spot names manually (comma-separated)- Overprint toggle — Sets overprint + OPM on dieline separations (on by default)---Export SettingsClick the Export print PDF button at the bottom to open the export sheet.PDF output — Merged (all frames as pages in one PDF) or Separate (each frame as its own PDF)Color — RGB, CMYK, or GreyscaleTrim & Bleed (CMYK only):- Toggle on/off- Bleed — Extra area beyond the trim for cutting tolerance- Trim (Must be > bleed) — The final cut line. Must always be larger than bleed.- Crop marks — Toggle to include trim marks in the exported PDFMax ink coverage (CMYK only) — TAC limit in %. Standard is 300-400% depending on press/paper.DPI (CMYK only) — Minimum resolution check.
