About this plugin

Accelerate your design workflow with an AI-powered plugin that integrates seamlessly with the iMessage Chat Builder UI kit. Use this plugin to instantly generate realistic iMessage screens and prototypes.

Using this plugin will allow you to configure the following chat properties:

1. The number of chat participants
2. The maximum number of messages in the chat
3. Whether iMessage should default to light or dark mode
4. The conversation topic and tone

Getting Started

To get started, follow these quick steps:

1. Install required fonts and symbols

This plugin uses Apple’s SF Pro and SF Mono font families - in addition to SF Symbols.

These fonts are not bundled with this file. SF Pro should now work natively within Figma’s desktop client, but you’ll still need to download and install SF Mono manually if you haven’t already done so.

2. Generate and enter an Anthropic API key

To use the plugin - you’ll need an Anthropic API key.

You can get one by:

1. Visiting the Anthropic Console
2. Signing in or creating an account
3. Navigating to the API Key section of your account settings
4. Clicking ‘Create Key’

Paste that API key into the plugin when prompted. Your key is stored locally and never shared.

Note: Anthropic may charge for API usage. Review Anthropic’s API pricing before proceeding with plugin use.
