Keep your design files clean, consistent, and scalable with Group Components — a Figma plugin that groups and organizes your main components.

This plugin is purpose-built for organizing component libraries, not entire layouts. It works by scanning your canvas for main components (not instances) and grouping them into clear, logical sections — so you never have to sort them manually again.

⚠️ Before you start:

Make sure your main components are placed directly on the canvas, not inside frames or groups. Group Components only organizes main components, and won’t affect instances or nested layers.

✅ How to use this plugin:

1. Install the free Group Components plugin in Figma
2. Make sure your main components are on the canvas (not inside frames)
3. Run the plugin
4. Choose how you'd like to group them:
5. Click “Group Components”
6. Done! Your components are now neatly organized into named groups
