Presenting a powerful new Figma plugin for linking and managing component overrides with advanced frame-to-instance conversion capabilities. Linkit enables designers to efficiently convert frames to instances and link instances to target components while preserving any kind of customizations such as text overrides, fill overrides, padding changes, or corner radius overrides.

We all detach stuff sometimes, to customize and play around. And our customizations are valuable and time consuming! When converting frames to instances or re-linking components, losing your carefully crafted text content, corner radius adjustments, spacing tweaks, and visibility settings can cost hours of rework.

How to use the plugin?

1. Set Your Target: Select any main component in your file and click "Set as Target"
2. Choose Your Selection: Pick the frames or instances you want to link (multiple selection are supported!)
3. Enable any preserve overrides: If you want to preserve any overrides, just enable the switch for the plugin to preserve it!
4. Hit Linkit - Watch the magic happen as everything converts and links instantly

Done! ✨ Your items are now properly linked instances to the target with all customizations intact.
