What it does

Long Shadow Maker duplicates your selected layer(s) along a direction you choose, then unions and flattens those copies into one fused vector. The result looks identical to the classic Illustrator “Transform > Copy” look—without hundreds of live layers.

Key features

1. Angle dial + numeric input (0–360°) for precise direction.
2. Offset per copy and copy count controls (e.g., 1px × 150 copies).
3. Single vector output via Union → Flatten for speed.
4. Exact color & opacity (reapplied post-merge to avoid defaults).
5. Place behind original; optional delete intermediate copies.
6. Keep original fill toggle (or recolor all copies).
7. Progress UI with spinner & mini progress bar.
8. Works on text, shapes, groups, frames; auto-loads fonts in selection.
9. ES5-safe; no external calls, no data collection.

How to use

1. Select one or more layers (text or vector).
2. Drag the direction dial (or type an angle).
3. Set Offset per copy and Copies.
4. Choose Shadow Color and Opacity.
5. (Optional) Check Place merged shadow behind and Delete copies.
6. Click Create Shadow. Your output appears as “Long Shadow (Merged)”.
