디자이너가 개발 구현을 위한 UX 디스크립션을 피그마 안에서 직접 문서화하고 재사용할 수 있도록 도와줍니다.

목적

UX 디자이너는 화면 설계서를 작성할 때 동일한 컴포넌트의 디스크립션을 반복해서 작성해야 하는 경우가 많습니다.

이 반복적인 작업을 줄이기 위해, Description Creator는 피그마 안에서 미리 저장된 컴포넌트의 UX 디스크립션을 자동으로 생성해주는 플러그인입니다.

사용 방법

1. 화면(Frame)을 선택합니다.
2. 플러그인에서 ‘디스크립션 생성(Generate Description)’ 버튼을 클릭합니다.
3. 선택한 화면 안에 포함된 컴포넌트 중, 플러그인 데이터베이스에 디스크립션이 등록된 컴포넌트의 설명이 자동으로 우측 영역에 생성됩니다.

Q. 화면 단위로만 디스크립션을 생성할 수 있나요?

A. 아닙니다. 컴포넌트 단위로도 생성할 수 있습니다.

Frame을 선택하면, 그 안에 포함된 모든 컴포넌트를 인식해 자동으로 디스크립션을 생성합니다.

Q. 모든 컴포넌트의 디스크립션이 자동으로 생성되나요?

A. 플러그인 데이터베이스에 디스크립션이 등록된 컴포넌트만 생성됩니다.

‘Database’ 페이지에 있는 컴포넌트들은 이미 디스크립션이 저장되어 있으며,

이 컴포넌트를 복사하여 화면을 디자인하면 디스크립션이 자동으로 생성됩니다.

Q. 어떤 화면이든 활용해도 괜찮은가요?

A. 네, 가능합니다.

자동 생성된 디스크립션은 입력 공수를 줄이기 위한 초안이며,

각 화면이나 기능의 맥락에 맞게 수정·보완해서 사용하시면 됩니다.

Description Creator

It helps designers document and reuse UX descriptions directly in Figma for development.

Purpose

UX designers often need to write the same component descriptions repeatedly when creating screen specifications.

To reduce this repetitive effort, Description Creator automatically generates pre-stored UX descriptions for components directly within Figma.

How to Use

1. Select a frame in your design.
2. Click “Generate Description” in the plugin.
3. The plugin will automatically create descriptions on the right side of your canvas for all components within the frame that have stored descriptions in the plugin’s database.

FAQs

Q. Can I only generate descriptions by frame?

A. No. You can also generate them by component.

When you select a frame, the plugin recognizes all components inside it and generates descriptions automatically.

Q. Are descriptions generated for all components?

A. Only for components that have descriptions saved in the plugin’s database.

Components on the Database page are already linked with descriptions — simply copy and use those components in your designs to generate descriptions automatically.

Q. Can I use it for any kind of screen?

A. Yes. The generated descriptions are initial drafts designed to save your input effort.

You can review, edit, and refine them to fit the specific context of each screen or feature.
