Export images with original metadata preserved (EXIF, XMP, IPTC)

About this plugin
Export cropped or resized images from Figma while preserving the original image metadata (EXIF, XMP, IPTC, ICC profiles).
⚠️ Important Note:
When large images (with height or width greater than 4096px) are imported into Figma, Figma automatically resizes them so that the largest dimension equals 4096px. During this process, all metadata is stripped away. This means the plugin cannot preserve metadata for such images, since Figma has already removed it before the plugin can access it.
Perfect for photographers, designers, and content creators who need to maintain image metadata when exporting from Figma. The plugin automatically merges metadata from the original uploaded image into your exported JPEG files.
Features:
• Preserves EXIF camera data (make, model, exposure settings, etc.)
• Maintains XMP descriptive metadata (title, description, keywords, headline)
• Keeps IPTC information (credit, caption, location, date)
• Supports ICC color profiles
• Export at @1x or @2x resolution
• Handles multiple image fills on a single layer
• Displays metadata in an organized, easy-to-read format
Simply select a layer with an image fill and export. Your metadata is automatically preserved!
