About this plugin
Tone Teller is a Figma plugin designed for color accessibility.
It helps designers with color vision deficiencies identify and hear colors instantly.
Just select an object and the plugin:
Detects the color
Converts it to a readable hex
Finds the closest shade name
Speaks it out loud
No guessing. No asking a teammate.
Color feedback becomes direct, immediate, and human-accessible.
This is Version 1 — currently supports solid single fills.
Upcoming updates:
Multi-color scanning
Gradient color detection
More color names (1000+ palette extension)
Component-level color reading
Design should never exclude.
This is one small step toward making tools more inclusive.
