About this plugin

Smart UX Copywriter helps designers and product teams write better microcopy — fast. Select a layer or an entire frame and generate tone-matched UI text (buttons, labels, hints, errors) with a single click. Use the Tone picker to choose the voice (Friendly, Formal, Minimal, Playful, Neutral, Corporate) and optionally provide context for tighter results.

Features:

Generate single-layer microcopy or batch-generate for all text layers in a frame (one API call per frame).

Tone enforcement: the plugin ensures the copy matches the chosen style.

Google Translate integration for fast localization (single or batch).

Settings let you select model, creativity (temperature), and max output length.

Auto-refresh selection after applying copy so UI reflects updates instantly.

How it works:

You must provide your own Google Gemini API key (stored locally in plugin settings).

The plugin sends selected text and optional context to Google Generative Language to generate copy (and to Google Translate for translations).

The plugin does not retain or share your API key, nor does it store the text anywhere outside your Figma file and the API calls you initiate.
