About this plugin

Have you ever noticed how it's really hard to move groups around and work with collections in Figma? Once something is in a collection, it seems decidedly difficult to take it out. This plugin solves that. You can combine, split and move collections and groups around with ease.

1. Merge: Select one target collection to merge into, and multiple source collections.
2. Split: Extract groups into new collection
3. Move: Move single group into a new collection

Disclaimer

This plugin is new and NOT battle-tested. Please apply this plugin on a test file to make sure you are not messing up your variables.

Advice before you merge

Make sure you have the same amount of modes in your target collection as in your source collections. The plugin will automatically fill in missing values as “String value” or “0” but to avoid needless work, make sure you match the modes across collections.

We allow you to merge without doing this, but be aware skipping this step leads to manual work that can be avoided.
