Modal/Drawer Background Optimization: When designing a modal or side drawer with a dark overlay, the content behind the overlay is static and non-interactive. Select this background content (e.g., the main artboard) and flatten it to a PNG. This instantly frees up massive amounts of memory without sacrificing visual fidelity.

Archiving Old Iterations: Transform design versions or historical proposals that no longer require editing into PNGs. This preserves the visual history while drastically reducing layer complexity.

⚙️ Usage Guide (Run Once Mode)

This plugin operates in Run Once mode, meaning it has no UI pop-up, ensuring maximum efficiency:

In your Figma file, select the artboards, groups, or frames you wish to optimize.

Run the plugin via the menu: Plugins > PNG Flattening Toolkit (One-Click Cleanup).

The plugin will automatically replace the complex structure with the PNG image and permanently remove the original layers (no backup is saved).
