About this plugin
Organizer is a powerful utility plugin that automatically arranges and organizes elements within Figma sections. Whether you're working with sections containing multiple frames, components, or component instances, this plugin helps you maintain clean, consistent layouts with customizable spacing and padding.
Smart Section Organization
- Automatically organizes children elements (frames, sections, components, and instances) within a selected section
- Intelligently groups elements by X-coordinate to maintain column structure
- Elements with similar X-coordinates are stacked vertically, while different columns are arranged horizontally
- Preserves empty spaces in your layout—no unwanted element shifting
Flexible Element Arrangement
- Select multiple elements to arrange them horizontally on the same Y-coordinate
- Perfect for quickly aligning groups of elements without manual positioning
- Works with frames, sections, components, and component instances
Customizable Spacing
- Set your preferred gap value (horizontal spacing between elements)
- Configure padding (distance from section edges and starting position)
- Gap and padding values persist across your Figma session
- Gap-based tolerance ensures consistent grouping regardless of spacing size
Automatic Section Resizing
- Automatically resizes sections to fit organized content with proper padding
- Ensures all elements maintain consistent spacing from section edges
- No manual resizing needed—the plugin handles it for you
Streamlined Workflow
- Two simple commands: "Organize" and "Set gap…"
- Organize command runs silently without UI for quick organization
- Set gap dialog automatically organizes if a section or multiple elements are selected
- Modern, clean UI with helpful descriptions for each setting
