Data Pasta makes it easy to fill your designs with realistic placeholder content. Select text layers and paste randomized data in one click.

Features:

Datasets

Create and save custom lists of text entries. Perfect for product names, categories, status labels, or any repeating content. Your datasets are saved and ready whenever you need them.

Numbers

Generate random numbers with full control over formatting:

• Set min/max range and decimal places

• Choose thousands separator (comma, point, space)

• Add prefix ($, €, £) or suffix (%, kg, EUR)

Dates

Generate dates in multiple formats:

• Various formats (MM/DD/YYYY, Dec 25, 2024, etc.)

• Custom date ranges

• Relative dates ("2 days ago", "Yesterday")

• Optional time in 12h or 24h format

Names

Generate realistic names from 12 regions including US, UK, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and more. Choose full names, first names only, or last names. Filter by gender.

Quick Paste

Use "Quick Paste" from the menu to instantly apply your last used dataset without opening the UI.

Works in both Figma and FigJam.
