Unlike standard Figma export options that often compress images or apply visual edits, this plugin retrieves the original, unmodified source files stored within Figma.

It enables recovery of high-quality assets from existing design files and supports bulk conversion into modern, web-optimized formats such as WebP and AVIF without any loss of quality. A robust scanning engine identifies every image on the canvas, including assets nested inside complex frames or groups, and allows them to be downloaded exactly as they were originally uploaded.

How to Use

Select the frames or layers you want to extract images from. To scan the entire page, ensure nothing is selected.

Run the Arista Photo Downloader plugin.

Click the Scan button to detect all embedded images.

Review the detected images along with their original resolution and file size.

Choose one of the following actions:

Download Originals to retrieve the raw source files.

Select a target format (such as WebP or JPG) and choose Convert and Download to generate web-ready assets.
