About this plugin
Export Figma variables to optimized JSON files. Base brand exports fully; other brands export only differences from the base, keeping files small and maintainable. Supports merging variables from multiple Figma files.
How it works:
- Select your base brand (defaults to Billy.io) run plugin Click "Export Optimized variables"
- Click "Export Optimized variables" to export - Base brand = full export; other brands = only differences
- Merge from multiple files (optional):
- open another Figma file → run plugin → Click "Download Raw JSON"
- open the default file → Run plugin → Click "Import JSON Files to Merge..." → Select the previous file uploaded
- Click "Export Merged & Optimized" → Downloads all brands with default as base
