About this plugin

PREfixO helps you keep layer names clean and consistent by prefixing children using the selected parent name.

What it does

•Select one or multiple parents (frames / components / instances)

•Click Apply

•Children are renamed like: ParentName_ChildName

Key features

•Preview before applying (explicitly based on the first selected parent)

•Custom separator (default _)

•Recursive mode (rename nested children too)

•Optional: rename only layers with IMAGE fills

•Optional: skip layers that are already prefixed

•Safe behavior: layers that can’t be renamed are skipped and counted

Best for

Design systems, asset libraries, icon sets, and any file where naming consistency matters.
