About this plugin

Accessibility Persona Lens lets you simulate common interaction barriers using accessibility personas based on GOV.UK research.

Select one or more personas and apply them to selected frames to explore how design decisions may affect people with different access needs:

Ashleigh — severely sight impaired (blind); would use a screen reader

Claudia — partially sighted; would use screen magnification and high-contrast settings

Chris — has rheumatoid arthritis and colour vision deficiency; would rely on keyboard navigation and may use voice control

Simone — dyslexic; would use reading support tools such as highlighted read-aloud text

These simulations demonstrate interaction barriers, not lived experiences.

They are intended to support inclusive design thinking and do not replace research with disabled users.

Persona source content is adapted from GOV.UK materials available under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
