About this plugin
Pattern Pal helps design teams maintain consistency across Figma files. Select a frame and instantly compare it against your design system library and team files to surface structural mismatches, rule violations, and recurring patterns.
Key features:
- Frame scanning: Compare any frame against your design library or team files with weighted similarity scoring
- Team pattern discovery: Cluster similar frames across your team's files to find recurring patterns and inconsistencies
- Built-in design rules: Check for primary button limits, text style usage, spacing consistency, colour token coverage, and WCAG AA contrast
- Privacy-first: Analyses structural metadata only (layout, spacing, components), never reads text content or images
- Export results: Copy scan results as Markdown for documentation or sharing
