Your API key, conversations, custom skills, and settings are stored locally on your machine via Figma's clientStorage (encrypted at rest, scoped per-user per-plugin). When you send a message, the plugin makes a direct HTTPS request from your browser to api.anthropic.com — no proxy, no intermediary. The data sent includes your API key (in the Authorization header), frame screenshots, extracted text, conversation history, and the active writing skill.
