Unlike raster effects baked into PNGs or JPGs, Halftone SVG generates real vector output. Every dot is a true SVG element. This means you can:- Animate with CSS. Fade, scale, stagger, or pulse individual dots using plain CSS animations and transitions- Scale infinitely. Vectors stay crisp at any resolution, from thumbnails to billboards- Style dynamically. Change dot colors, opacity, and transforms at runtime without re-exporting- Keep file sizes small. A few hundred SVG circles weigh far less than a high-res raster image with the same effectThe plugin gives you full control over the output: grid spacing, dot radius, alpha threshold, square or hexagonal grids, variable dot sizing based on brightness, and more. All with a live preview before you commit.
