Passa is a WCAG 2.2 contrast checker and fixer built for designers who care about accessibility without slowing down.Select any text layer and Passa checks it instantly — no button press needed. The contrast ratio, AA and AAA status, and fix suggestions appear the moment you select. Keep adjusting the colour in Figma and the panel updates in real time, so you always know exactly where you stand as you work.When you need a broader audit, select a frame and scan it. Passa walks every text layer inside it, no matter how deeply nested, checking each one against its actual background colour — walking up through parent frames and components to find what the text truly sits on, not just what's directly underneath. Select multiple frames to scan them all at once.For every failing layer, Passa shows the exact contrast ratio, whether it fails AA or AAA, and the correct text size classification — 18pt or 14pt bold thresholds applied automatically. It then suggests the nearest passing colour for both the text and the background, calculated with the smallest possible change to your existing colours. Apply any fix in one click. Every fix is independently reversible, per layer, in sequence — you never lose your original colours.For fine-grained control, the manual slider lets you drag and fine-tune any colour with AA and AAA threshold markers on the track, so you can see exactly where the thresholds fall. Passa will also warn you when a background change might affect other text layers on the same frame.When your session is done, export a full audit report as a Figma frame — every scanned layer, its contrast ratio, what was fixed, and the exact colours changed — ready to share with your team or include in a handoff document.Most contrast plugins stop at checking.
