About this plugin

Design.md scans your Figma file and exports your entire design system as a structured Markdown document — ready to paste into a codebase, share with engineers, or feed into an AI coding tool.**What it exports:**- **Color tokens** — all local color variables and paint styles, with full multi-mode support (e.g. Light / Dark values side by side)- **Typography** — every text style with font family, weight, size, line height, and letter spacing- **Spacing** — spacing variables, auto-detected from your variable collections- **Border radius** — radius variables, auto-detected from your variable collections- **Shadows** — drop and inner shadow effect styles- **Components** — component properties, variant options, and usage hints for every component and component set in the file**Two export modes:**- **Export Basic** — tokens only (colors, typography, spacing, radius, shadows)- **Export Full** — tokens plus all components; individual components can be deselected before export**How it works:**Open the plugin and it immediately starts scanning — no manual steps. Tokens load first, then components are analyzed in the background. When ready, hit Export Basic or Export Full to download a `design.md` file.
